to all those who didn't know...
ash is fake and red is real
pokemon adventures was the story the creator wanted to portray in the games...
ash is just some random character based on red... except he's gay...

Red/Blue arc was BRUTAL, it was awesome. Pokemon dying left and right (Arbok,
Magmars, Rocket screwing around). And Red actually becomes the
well-respected and famous champion. Something Ash hasn't been able to
do in over 10 years (He placed 8th and 16th a few times. Pathetic.)

Yellow is ADORABLE arc. Yellow rivals Misty in my soul. I can't decide!

i found a character trait chart which is mostly true...

Red is your typical shounen character. A little ditzy but all serioius in battle.
Green is your average rival. Silent most of the time, typical badass.
Blue is your token whore.
Yellow is adorable.
Gold doesn't do anything.
Silver is emo.
Crys likes to kick Pokeballs and caught every non-legendary Pokemon that ever existed.
Ruby is a faggot but likable in the end.
Sapphire is tsundere.
Emerald is a faggot.
Diamon is slow
Pearl is too loud
Platina will have you as her servant.
